LoneStar ADN Program
Lone Star College offers several study entry / exit programs at Associate Degree Nursing.
The LVN / LP to ADN Transition Track and the ADN Basic Track and lead to the Associate of Applied Science Degree in Nursing and eligibility to take the RN State License Exam.
The Basic Track Care Program is approved by the Texas Nursing Council (Texas BON) and accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing.
The Basic Track
Early nursing students are accepted from July to August each year to be able to pursue 4 consecutive semesters in nursing courses. Classes include lectures, labs, and clinical courses. The attendance requirement is 4-5 days per week.
Radmission Policy
Re-acceptance is not automatic; this is based on fixing problem areas and the space available in the program. Students can only be accepted back to the program once.
If re-accepted, students must enroll in all nursing courses simultaneously and are required to comply with the current Nursing program policies.
Students who fail in the first semester nursing course must re-apply to the program. Re-admission to the associate degree nursing program must occur within two years after it is not completed. Check to their official site
