LVN Programs in Houston by Alvin Community College (ACC). Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) are important frontline members of the health care team. LVNs are also referred to as Practical Licensed Nurses (LPN) in many countries. LVN provides basic patient care. ACC LVN Programs accreditation
The ACC Vocational Nursing Program is fully approved by the Texas Board of Nursing (BON). The ACC VN program upholds the stated mission of Texas BON is to "protect and improve the welfare and safety of the people of Texas by ensuring that everyone who holds a license as a nurse in the State of Texas is competent to practice safely".
ACC LVN Program Fee
Fees, including tuition fees and fees, for LVN certificates are around $6,000 if you live in the district and around $8,000 if you live outside the district. This includes the cost of the HESI-A2 test, CPR certification, all tuition fees, fees, books, supplies, uniforms, malpractice insurance, and fees related to graduation and licensing. Personal health insurance, transportation, parking fees, physical examinations, TB tests, and immunizations are extra.
