We offer undergraduate and postgraduate nursing programs in three formats at TWU: face-to-face, online, or a combination of both. Undergraduate program
Students seeking a bachelor's degree can complete their degree in Houston. In addition, we offer the following:

Women's health
The research faculty in women's health will cover areas focused on pregnancy and childbirth, osteoporosis, labor support, labor support, violence against women, the boundaries of maternal and neonatal relationships, breastfeeding, premenstrual syndrome and menopause.

Health System Management
Faculty research in the health system and quality patient outcomes include areas of focus on nurse satisfaction, health policy, nursing staff, global health, weekend hospital risks, nursing history, and quality of birth and death certificate data.

Strategies for Educating Nurses
The faculty research in strategies will specifically educate nurses to be able to handle student retention, predictive validity of HESI exams, educational simulations, computerized testing, web-based learning, effective mentoring, length of clinical rotation and international student exchange.

Research Funding
The Office of Research & Sponsorship Program assists faculty in identifying funding sources (internal and external), managing grant finance, submitting proposals, and complying with grant requirements.

In FY 2015, the College of Nursing received nearly $4.5 million in research funding from sources including;
